Good questions
The things everyone asks.
How we work, what it costs, and what to expect. If your question isn't here, it's a great thing to bring to a consultation.
No. I design to your style, not mine. The process is style-agnostic, whether you're going ultra-modern, traditional, or somewhere in between. My job is to help you execute your vision with professional-grade materials and technical precision.
Every project starts with a consultation, then a precise written proposal that lays out the scope and fees before any work begins. Fees are fixed in writing at signing, so there are no surprises, and anything added to the scope later is quoted and billed on top of the original proposal.
We don't. GHSpaces is a premium, full-service design studio, and our pricing reflects the level of expertise and care that goes into every project. Where we save you money is in the work itself. The right selections made early prevent costly change orders and rework down the road.
We start by presenting a few design options, then refine based on your feedback (typically one revision round, a smaller, more dialed-in set built from what you liked). Once a design is approved and we begin ordering or installation, it's locked, so we focus on getting it right before that point.
Once a design is approved and signed off, it's locked so we can order materials and schedule trades with confidence. Any changes after that point are handled as a change order. The additional design time, materials, and labor they require are quoted and billed on top of the original proposal, and they can add time to the project. We'll always show you the cost and schedule impact before anything moves forward, so the call is always yours.
Not at this time. Happy to connect and learn about your project before anything is formalized.
The Essential package has a two-space minimum; otherwise projects range from a single space to a full custom build.
Ideally during the architectural phase, before floor plans are finalized. That's when layout issues are free to fix on paper instead of expensive to fix on-site.
Absolutely. Many clients do, especially on Essential. We provide every SKU, vendor, and spec you need. Just note that for client-purchased items, we can't manage returns, claims, or lead-time delays.
Yes. When a client wants it, we advise on structure and layout (for example, reworking a bathroom or kitchen layout) on top of selecting the finishes. We'll flag anything that needs to loop in your builder, architect, or a structural engineer.
Still have questions?
We're happy to talk it through before anything is formalized.
