Meet the founder

A lifetime learning how to frame a vision.

From a childhood watching her mother turn every house into a sanctuary, to eight years in custom art framing, to launching GHSpaces, Gabriela has always spoken in design.

Gabriela Herebia

Founder & CEO

My belief is simple: a home should be more than just a place to live; it should be a safe space. Growing up, we didn't have much, but I watched my mother transform every house we lived in into a sanctuary. She taught me that “home” is a feeling of safety and comfort, regardless of the zip code.

My professional journey into design began in the world of art framing. Spending years working with colors, patterns, and intricate layers gave me a unique perspective on how small details build a larger narrative. After years of collaborating with interior designers and hearing a client tell me, “You have an amazing eye, you were born to do this,” I decided to follow my gut.

What sets GHSpaces apart

A collection of moments, framed by design.

01

An eye trained by art

A decade in custom art framing sharpened Gabriela's eye for color, proportion, and detail. That same precision guides every finish and material selection, so each choice feels intentional and entirely yours.

02

Finishes made for real life

Every finish and material is chosen to live well, not just photograph well. Kids, pets, and everyday spills are no match for durable selections that still feel curated and elevated.

03

You're never handed off

It's just Gabriela. The person you meet at the consultation is the person who designs your home, from first call to final walkthrough.

Influences

My design perspective is deeply rooted in the landscapes and cultures that shaped me. I draw inspiration from the grounded, natural freedom of a rural California childhood and the rugged mountain escapes of Washington State. The modern, sun-drenched warmth of the Arizona desert influences my appreciation for clean aesthetics, while my roots in Guadalajara bring soul to my work. Discovering the historic architecture, vibrant colors, and intricate tiles of my family's hometown made me realize that my love for detailed, curated design is quite literally in my blood.
